“When I first signed up, I wanted to gain confidence with my money and feel like I understood where it was going and how I could save for the things that I wanted. Although I didn't have any debt, I constantly felt overwhelmed by my finances and like I was "behind". I had tried budgeting apps like Mint and YNAB, but gave up on those pretty easily.

I felt apprehensive at first because I didn’t want to be judged for my spending, but Berkeley immediately put me at ease. She made it so simple to reach my goals while still doing all the cool shit I love.

My favorite part of the program was talking about the root causes of my feelings around money and why I spend the way I spend. I definitely wouldn’t have been this successful had we just been talking about the logistics of budgets/retirement/etc.

My biggest takeaway is that it's not scary to look at money. It's actually very empowering and a great form of self-care to know where your money is going.

I can’t believe how EXCITED I am about my pay day routine and looking at my money. I also don't really feel shame or guilt around my spending anymore. I can easily see where that money is coming from. I feel so much more confident in my overall spending and that I can actually save up for a home one day!”
